We have an opportunity for an experienced Wellbeing and Workers Compensation Manger to join our team for 12 months, to lead the development and delivery of our health, wellness and personal injury programs across the business.

The role

In this hands‑on leadership position, you’ll be responsible for driving continuous improvement across Kinetic’s health, wellness and workers compensation portfolio. You will lead strategic and operational initiatives across claims, return‑to‑work, injury management, early intervention and wellbeing programs, while building strong relationships with leaders, teams, and external service providers.

You will also be a key partner to the Head of HSE in developing business-wide systems, processes and reporting frameworks to ensure compliance, build capability and reduce injury-related costs.

What you’ll do

  • Lead the design, implementation and continuous improvement of Kinetic’s health, wellbeing and workers compensation programs
  • Oversee compliance with legislation, regulations, industry standards and Kinetic policy
  • Build practical injury management and claims management processes in collaboration with the Head of HSE
  • Provide expert coaching and guidance to leaders to build capability in early intervention, fitness for work and return‑to‑work practices
  • Manage workers compensation premiums and drive cost‑reduction strategies across states and territories
  • Conduct internal audits and inspections to ensure system and legislative compliance
  • Prepare weekly and monthly performance reporting, including claims progress, injury trends and improvement opportunities
  • Lead, mentor and support the injury management team
  • Contribute to the delivery of Kinetic’s business‑wide injury reduction strategy

About you

You’ll thrive in this role if you bring:

  • Demonstrated experience in workers compensation, injury management or health and wellbeing leadership
  • Strong knowledge of workers compensation legislation across multiple jurisdictions
  • Proven ability to build relationships, influence stakeholders and coach leaders
  • Experience managing premiums, claims, and return‑to‑work programs
  • A proactive, solution‑focused mindset with a passion for improving workplace health outcomes
  • Excellent communication, reporting and analytical skills
