He angitūtanga: The opportunity 

Join the Marketing, Communications and Growth rōpū and help bring Auckland’s most exciting live experiences to life in the city centre.  Reporting to the Group Marketing Manager, this role sits within the Auckland Live Marketing & Ticketing team with a focus on city centre activities and events, where you’ll plan, deliver and optimise marketing campaigns that drive ticket sales, grow audiences, and elevate the Auckland Live brand. From theatre productions and concerts to festivals and experiences, you’ll work across a diverse programme, collaborating with external and internal teams to connect audiences with unforgettable experiences

 

Key responsibilities: 

  • Plan and deliver integrated marketing campaigns across digital, social, outdoor and print channels 

  • Provide marketing support to promoters and presenters across Auckland Live venues and public spaces

  • Create engaging content for digital platforms to drive awareness and ticket sales 

  • Collaborate across teams to build brand visibility and campaign impact 

  • Monitor performance, using data and insights to optimise campaigns 

 
He kōrero mōu: About you 

You’re a motivated and creative marketer who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a passion for live events, arts and culture. You bring strong campaign delivery skills, enjoy working across multiple projects, and are confident collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders. 

 
We are looking for someone with: 

  • 2–3 years’ experience in a marketing or similar role 

  • Experience delivering integrated campaigns on time and within budget 

  • Strong copywriting, coordination and organisational skills 

  • Experience across digital and social channels (with some content creation skills) 

  • A collaborative approach and ability to build strong relationships 

  • A proactive, can-do attitude and attention to detail

  • Interested in audience growth and engaging diverse communities

This is a fixed term for one-year full-time role, Monday to Friday, with some evening and weekend work required to support live events.
