Webasto is looking for a ME Expert Process Technologies electrical Testing (f/m/x) in Schierling for a full-time onsite role focused on designing and implementing test environments for EOL and BOL automotive HV battery systems, and coordinating with customers and suppliers in a PEP setting. You will create test plans, ensure quality and safety, and meet KPI targets while working with SAP. The ideal candidate holds a degree in electrical engineering or related field, has automotive electronics testing and fault diagnosis experience, and is proficient with CAN/BUS tools (Vector CANoe) and LabVIEW; HV qualification is a plus. Production & Operations focuses on designing, managing, and improving production processes and business operations, as well as manufacturing technologies and supply chains. The role involves working with modern systems such as SAP and dashboards, some of which are self-programmed. This is a cross-functional and international environment that offers performance-driven, diverse challenges and exciting projects.

You can look forward to these exciting tasks:

• Design, development, and implementation of test environments (hardware/software) for manual and automated tests at EOL and BOL (End of Line/Begin of Line test benches) for automotive HV battery systems
• Support and optimization of new and existing test benches as well as analysis of defective parts
• Coordination with customers and suppliers within the framework of the product development process (PEP) in acquisition and series projects in an international environment
• Creation of test plans, specifications, test reports, and documentation
• Ensuring compliance with quality standards, safety requirements, and key performance indicators in collaboration with the production, quality, and engineering departments

This is what you bring to us:

• Successfully completed technical studies in the field of electrical engineering, technical computer science, or similar, with several years of experience in the electronics sector in the automotive/supplier industry and the processes of the automotive industry
• Profound knowledge in test execution and fault diagnosis in the field of electrical/electronic systems and for safety-critical systems in the automotive sector, as well as experience with CAN/BUS software (e.g., Vector CANoe), LabView, etc.
• Professional experience in testing high-voltage systems in the automotive industry and qualification for working on HV systems is advantageous (e.g., working under voltage according to DGUV)
• Analytical skills as well as an independent, goal-oriented, and systematic working style
• Very good German language skills, good English language skills in both spoken and written form
