ABOUT YOU 

As the Medical Devices Business Development Manager, you will be commercially driven professional with strong technical understanding of medical device regulations, quality systems, and market access requirements, combined with the ability to build strategic partnerships and deliver sustainable sales performance.

Required skills and experience:

  • Proven track record in B2B sales within the medical devices, life sciences, or regulated technical services sector.
  • Strong understanding of medical device regulatory frameworks and quality management systems.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving or exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong analytical ability with experience in forecasting and pipeline management.
  • Experience using CRM systems and structured sales methodologies.
  • Ability to manage complex sales cycles and engage with technical stakeholders

 

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY 

As the Medical Devices Business Development Manager, you will focus on promoting assurance, testing, inspection, certification, and regulatory compliance solutions to manufacturers, distributors, and innovators across the medical technology market.

Key activities:

  • Identify, develop, and convert new business opportunities within the medical devices sector.

  • Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation and qualification through to proposal development, negotiation, and contract closure.

  • Build strong relationships with manufacturers, regulatory teams, quality managers, and senior decision-makers.

  • Understand client regulatory and commercial objectives to position tailored solutions.

  • Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities across the service portfolio.

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of global medical device regulations and standards (e.g., FDA, EU MDR, UKCA, ISO 13485).

  • Ensure seamless handover from sales to project delivery teams.

  • Contribute to marketing initiatives, trade events, webinars, and industry engagement activities.
