What You'll Do:
- Supervise performance, provide mentoring, and guide approximately 35 hourly mine shift operator.
- Provide safety guidance and ensure compliance with all safety and work space rules and procedures.
- Close interaction with the Maintenance, Planning and Engineering Departments to safely and efficiently utilized available resources to meet daily production goals.
What You'll Bring:
- Grade 12 or equivalent required.
- 5 years potash mining experience and/or Saskatchewan underground supervisor certification required.
- Mine Operations (potash) experience preferred.
- Supervisory experience in a unionized environment preferred.
- Demonstrated guidance and interpersonal skills. Ability to engage and inspire; educate and mentor.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety.
- Computer proficiency.
- Mine Rescue certification, and involvement in OH&S and exposure based safety programs are assets.
