This role drives operational excellence, ensures regulatory and corporate policy compliance, and leads emergency preparedness and response across seasonal events while managing field based teams under collective agreements and building cross functional partnerships to align Operations, Engineering and Mechanical objectives with long term capital planning. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in engineering, at least five years in railway maintenance, strong budgeting and project management skills, and a proven track record in safety leadership and regulatory compliance. Management Conductor Program
Becoming a qualified conductor or locomotive engineer is the single best way for a management employee to learn the business at CPKC. You may be required to obtain a certification or to maintain your current certification/qualification as a conductor or locomotive engineer.
