Jackson Group Peterbilt in Kelso, WA is seeking a full-time on-site New Truck Salesman. The role requires deep truck product knowledge, strong demonstrations, and skilled negotiation to close deals, plus handling paperwork with the finance and insurance manager. You will prep sold vehicles, deliver them, introduce customers to service, coordinate reconditioning with service and body shop, and follow up on post-delivery items. RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Understand the terminology of the truck business and keep abreast of changes in product technology, incoming inventory, features, accessories, etc.
- Provides thorough product information and demonstration to all prospects.
- Knows and understands the federal, state, and local laws that govern retail vehicle sales.
- Turn closed deals over to the finance and insurance manager and present properly completed paperwork (i.e., insurance information, trade title, etc.).
- Prepare sold vehicles for customer delivery (i.e., cleans vehicles, fills gas tank, and ensures all features are operational) before customer arrival.
- Deliver vehicles to customers, ensuring that the customer understands the vehicle's operating features, warranty, and paperwork.
- Introduce customers to service department personnel to emphasize to them the quality and efficiency of service repairs and maintenance available in the dealership's service department.
- Follow up on all post-delivery items, tag/title work, "we-owes", and special requests to be sure that all customer expectations are met.
- Works with the service department and body shop to ensure that vehicles are properly reconditioned on schedule.
- Help with the used-vehicle inspection process.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Exhibits a high level of commitment to customer satisfaction.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills
- Proficient in basic computer skills, CRM software, and inventory management
- Have or be able to get a CDL.
- 2+ Years Sales Experience Preferred
