Night Receptionist – Soho House Amsterdam

At Soho House the Night Receptionist assist with checking members in to the House and hotel guests into their room as well as streamline various inquiries, risks and other matters that arise. The Night Receptionist is responsible for receiving payments and balancing cash at end of a shift. A successful Night Receptionist is hospitable by nature, pro-active, capable multi-tasker as well as level-headed, professional in demanding and fast paced environments.

As part of our Soho House team your role is to make sure that our members have an amazing experience every time. Possessing natural hospitality charm, we will give you a platform to connect, grow, have fun and make an impact.

What we are looking for

  • Must have experience in a customer service role
  • Must be okay with multi-tasking, answering high-volume phone lines and answering inquiries professionally 
  • Quick learner or have OpenTable, Salesforce, Google Sheets and/or Opera experience 
  • Problem solving skills and bring conflict resolution to any anticipated or current matter
  • Detail oriented, articulate and ability to multi-task in a high-volume and demanding work environment
  • Strong communication skills in English
  • Flexible schedule and ability to work late nights and weekends
