Here's an opportunity to work for a leader in refrigerated warehousing and storage logistics - Ultimately it's a COOL Work Environment!

Our East Tamaki depot are currently looking for an experienced store person with the right attitude and experience to join their team. This position will be primarily freezer based and Reach truck experience is essential, as well as attention to detail and working to strict time deadlines.

We're looking for someone who can:

• Work in a freezer environment
• Operate a Reach Forklift in a safe manner
• Manual Handle / lift up to 20 kgs
• Learn new skills and develop themselves
• Be 100% committed to following all Health & Safety Policies and Rules
• Clean and maintain warehouse and equipment
• Monday – Friday 6:00pm - 2.30am and occasional Saturdays

Qualifications

To be successful in this position, you will need:

Required Qualifications:

• Previous warehousing experience, preferably within the food distribution field
• Valid Reach Forklift licence and demonstrable experience operating a Reach Forklift safely
• Physical ability to work in a freezer environment and manually handle/lift up to 20 kg
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work to strict time deadlines
• Strong commitment to following all Health & Safety policies and rules
• Ability to work night shifts (6:00 pm - 2:30 am) and occasional Saturdays

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in refrigerated warehousing and storage logistics
• Knowledge of inventory management systems and practices
• Familiarity with food safety regulations and practices
• Demonstrated ability to learn new skills quickly and adapt to changing work environments
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently when required
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team
