MacKillop Family Services seeks a permanent full-time House Manager ITC in Nowra, NSW to lead care within the Intensive Therapeutic Care program. You will supervise the ITC Youth Work team and coordinate with the Therapeutic Specialist and Caseworker to help young people heal from trauma and achieve their potential. A bachelor degree in social work or related field with Disability Support experience is required, along with proven skills in developing behavioral management plans for children and adolescents with challenging behaviours, plus strong teamwork and independent judgment. You must hold a valid driver’s license, Working with Children Check, and NDIS Worker Screening; salary packaging, career development and EAP are offered. About the role:
The House Manager Intensive Therapeutic Care (ITC) is responsible for the delivery of high-quality therapeutic care that promotes the emotional, social and behavioral needs of vulnerable young in Intensive Therapeutic Care.
This position works within a trauma informed therapeutic framework and is responsible for the leadership, supervision, support and development of the ITC Therapeutic Youth Work team. The House Manager ITC works closely with the Therapeutic Specialist, Caseworker, Coordinator and other ITC staff to provide high quality therapeutic care and assist young people to heal from trauma and achieve their full potential.
This is a Permanent Full-time opportunity based in Nowra, NSW within our Intensive Therapeutic Care program and reports to the ITC Coordinator.
