Shared Health is seeking a 0.70 FTE Nursing Assistant for the Health Sciences Centre, Children’s Hospital, CH5 Medicine Transitional Care in Winnipeg. This on site role supports a multidisciplinary team under the Manager Health Services or Nurse in Charge, performing clerical tasks, serving as a unit communication link, and delivering patient care along with routine housekeeping as patient census allows, with day and night shifts including weekends. Requirements include Manitoba high school completion, successful completion of a Nursing Assistant program or equivalent, and medical terminology knowledge, plus strong English and basic keyboarding. Preference given to applicants with Indigenous language skills. Training on PHIA, WHMIS and universal precautions is provided during probation. A current Criminal Records Check with Vulnerable Sector, Child and Adult Abuse checks is required.
