The role includes leading group first aid courses, performing pre-employment and annual checks, drug and alcohol testing, and data entry, with travel and some weekend hours. A health-related degree is required; nurses are welcome but pay varies. You must have NZ work rights, a valid driver’s license, and strong tech skills. About the role:
We currently have an exciting opportunity for an outstanding health professional to join us in the role of Occupational Health Technician and begin or continue your career in occupational health. In this supported but autonomous role, you will be delivering first aid training courses and health screening services across the Canterbury region, and occasionally beyond. Our premises are based Christchurch but much of the work however is undertaken on client sites.
You will be working a guaranteed minimum 64 hours per fortnight with additional hours sometimes available.
You don't necessarily have to have occupational health experience as we provide paid comprehensive training, but you must have a health-related degree e.g. Health Science, Paramedicine, Sports Science. We are open to new graduates.
