On Premise Marketing Manager
Red BullRed Bull is looking for an On Premise Marketing Manager to amplify the brand’s presence in Auckland. This full-time, onsite role sits in the field where bars, pubs, cafes and independent outlets come alive with Red Bull energy. It’s a fit for someone who loves hands-on campaigns, strong relationships with venue partners, and turning ideas into activations that move the needle on consumption.
The company brings its distinctive energy to New Zealand with a culture that prizes initiative, collaboration and the chance to shape Red Bull’s on-premise story. You’d work with a national marketing team and local partners to craft campaigns that resonate with local accounts while aligning with global guidelines, and you’d be part of a team that values coaching, learning, and open dialogue around what works in the real world.
If you enjoy a mix of strategic thinking, field-based execution and cross-functional teamwork, this role offers a blend of planning, partnerships and hands-on delivery. You’ll be at the forefront of the on-premise scene, balancing brand-building with practical driving of sales and share of mind at selected venues and occasions.
A day in the field and beyond
In practice, you’ll tailor international marketing guidelines to suit local needs, then build and roll out the On Premise Marketing Business Plan for your portfolio. You’ll coordinate installations and activations across key accounts and outlets, ensuring the right setups, timing and execution to maximise impact, while partnering with the national marketing team to translate insights into action and spot opportunities as the market shifts.
On the trade marketing side, you’ll develop and execute strategies that blend global guidance with local insights, craft segment-specific approaches, and coach the On Premise team to lift performance. You’ll lead key account marketing alongside the National Key Account Team, cultivate strategic partnerships, and oversee tool procurement, budgeting and planning to keep campaigns on track. You’ll also manage the Digital Poster plan to ensure it’s used effectively and at the right moments.
In Consumer Marketing you’ll adapt national campaigns for the On Premise, delivering scalable programmes that build brand habits and win over consumers, while working with colleagues across brand, culture, sports and media to amplify impact. Campaigns will be anchored to priority occasions, with an eye on consistency and local relevance.
Industry Marketing will see you devising concepts that engage venue staff, decision makers, owners and influencers, and turning ideas into measurable actions that lift mindshare and sales. You’ll cultivate relationships with agencies, influencers and national decision makers to keep the brand front of mind in the venues you target.
From a leadership point of view, you’ll share best practices with national and international teams, grow a network with external agencies and key influencers, allocate budgets with care and monitor the placement of POS tools. You’ll coach the On Premise team, run field days and contribute insights as a member of the On Premise Leadership Team, helping the function advance and improve over time.
Beyond the work itself, you’ll model the Red Bull culture and values, promoting a can-do attitude and staying focused on opportunities. The role is a chance to build leadership through a hands-on, collaborative approach and to energise the local on-premise community with fresh ideas and steady execution.

Three practical tips for this on Premise challenge
First, lead with the on-premise experience. Put your most relevant campaigns and partnerships up top on your CV, especially anything that involved venues, key accounts, or influencer collaborations, so your readers see you’ve done the core work before.
Second, demonstrate how you’ve used data and budgets to drive decisions. Cite concrete examples of how you allocated tools and resources, measured outcomes, and adjusted plans based on what the market was telling you.
Third, be ready to walk through a campaign from concept to impact. Describe the steps you took, the people you collaborated with, the obstacles you faced and how you resolved them, plus how you measured success against priority occasions and sales indicators.
Fourth, plan a thoughtful question to ask at the end of your interview. You could ask how the Auckland On Premise team collaborates with national and international colleagues to balance local needs with global guidelines, or how success is ultimately defined for the On Premise Marketing function in NZ.
