In this role, you'll:


Play a vital role in supporting project operations and controls, helping Network Management West teams and stakeholders keep projects on track. By managing risk, providing strong oversight, and ensuring processes run smoothly, you contribute to meaningful outcomes that make a real difference for the people of NSW.

 

In this role, you'll: work as part of a collaborative team providing day-to-day operational support across project planning, financial monitoring, and governance, helping drive efficient and effective project delivery outcomes for Network Management West. You will ensure regulatory compliance, manage risks, and support informed, data-driven decision-making while fostering strong engagement and alignment across diverse stakeholders and implementing effective cost control measures.


In this  role you will support consistent decision-making by analysing and monitoring business and financial data, preparing monthly, annual and ad hoc reports, and maintaining accurate records in SAP (Transport Equip) and BI reporting systems. You will deliver clear and reliable business and project reporting, tracking risks and associated controls to ensure alignment with project performance and compliance requirements.


You will also contribute to building branch capability through high-quality reporting and collaboration with stakeholders and managers, supporting performance monitoring, cross-functional initiatives, and compliant procurement and business processes.

About you


You bring strong analytical skills, exceptional attention to detail, and a process-driven mindset, with a proven commitment to continuous improvement. You have sound financial acumen, with experience in program reporting, performance analysis, and extensive use of SAP to support financial and operational processes.


You excel at building effective stakeholder relationships through clear communication and collaboration, delivering high-quality reporting, implementing process improvements, and providing procurement and contract management support to enable informed decision-making.
