About the opportunity
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Senior Administrative Officer to join our team at the University Department of Rural Health Northern Rivers in a newly redesigned role focused on operational coordination, process improvement, reporting, and business support.
This is an opportunity to move beyond traditional administration and play a central role in supporting projects, governance activities, onboarding processes, reporting frameworks, and continuous improvement initiatives across a busy regional university centre.
In this role, you will:
coordinate reporting schedules, approvals, records management, and business processes
support onboarding activities and operational administration across multiple teams
assist with projects, events, and working groups
develop and improve workflows, systems, and operational processes
supervise reception services and support day-to-day centre operations
About You
You enjoy creating order from complexity and are known for your ability to keep projects, people, and processes on track.
You will bring:
experience in operational coordination, business support, or administration within a complex environment
strong organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
confidence working with systems, reporting, and digital tools
