We have an opportunity with our Canterbury Emergency Ambulance Service for a non-clinical person to work in the cutting-edge Christchurch Make Ready Hub, located in the Christchurch CBD, as a 1 year fixed-term part-time contract, on a 4x4 roster. Ambulance Resource Assistant (what we call internally - Operations Resource Assistants or ORAs).
This is an important ambulance support role with a primary focus to prepare Hato Hone St John vehicles for operational readiness which means you'll be an essential worker supporting our front-line emergency service.
In this hands-on role, you’ll maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and infection control, while ensuring our ambulances are fully stocked, serviced, and available where they’re needed most. You’ll actively monitor fleet status, carry out routine maintenance and equipment checks, and coordinate vehicle movements to support seamless service delivery.
