Oscar Wylee is seeking a full-time Optical Dispenser and Keyholder for onsite work in Auckland, blending fashion retail with eye care. You’ll provide eye care and eyewear styling advice, dispense lenses and frames per prescriptions, and build relationships that encourage repeat visits while assisting with opening and closing. The ideal candidate has at least 6 months optical experience, a proven retail background, crystal-clear communication, a driven upbeat attitude, people savvy and a customer centric approach, and flexibility to late evenings and weekends; this role suits university students seeking practical healthcare experience. About the role

We have a great blended fashion retail and healthcare experience to offer involving:

• Providing eye care and eyewear styling advice to patients and prospective clientele.
• Dispensing lenses and frames per prescriptions provided by our Optometrists.
• Build meaningful relationships with our clientele that gives them a reason to visit us again.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures.

About the person

This is a great opportunity for someone interested in obtaining healthcare experience in a familiar retail setting. Successful applicants will posses the following:

• Retail Acumen: Proven background in a fast-paced retail setting.
• Optical experience: Atleast 6 months work experience.
• Crystal-Clear Communication: Your communication is direct and easy to understand, complemented by outstanding listening skills.
