- The Outside Parts Salesperson develops and achieves maximum profitable sales volume of parts and labor services from assigned accounts in a designated territory
- Analyzes customer operations to ascertain future parts, service and truck requirements
- Develops and achieves maximum sales volume consistent with realistic sales projections for assigned accounts focusing on parts and labor sales opportunities
- Oversees operations of assigned customers
- Advises or assists them in such areas as inventory selection and control, service available, new products and services, etc
- Plans territory coverage
- Calls upon key accounts (current and prospective) regularly
- Takes orders, introduces new products and promotions.
- Controls personal expenses within the approved expense budget and submits expense reports
- Investigates and refer customer complaints to the appropriate Department Manager.
- Assists, whenever necessary, the counter personnel with orders, deliveries, returns, inventory and other tasks as assigned
- Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor
