ams OSRAM is seeking a 1st shift Packer in Hillsboro, NH. You’ll assemble, pack, weigh, and label cartons, verify labeling and documentation, inspect products, follow packaging guidelines, and handle inventory with care while sealing containers at the required pace. The role requires standing, bending, reaching, lifting at least 25 pounds, and strong attention to detail in a fast paced environment. Pay is $16.50 per hour with a $1 raise after a successful six month review; hours are 6:30 am to 3 pm, with benefits, a 401(k) match and PTO. The ams OSRAM Opto Semiconductors business offers high-performance opto semiconductor components and in-depth support for state-of-the-art system solutions based on innovative semiconductor light sources. The Business Unit can look back on almost fifty years of production and development expertise.

Your new responsibilities

• Assembly, packing, weighing and labeling cartons for delivery, shipment, or storage.
• Identifying correct labeling and documentation.
• Inspecting the final product and packaging to ensure they are not damaged.
• Following all company guidelines regarding packaging.
• Handling inventory with care and attention to detail.
• Packers must be able to seal each container while maintaining product integrity at the set pace of the equipment.
• Packers must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, have excellent organizational skills, and excellent attention to detail.

Pay Rate: $16.50/hour

What we look for

• No prior manufacturing experience required
• Must be able to stand, stretch, bend, reach, and twist
• Must be able to lift at least 25lbs on your own.
• Must be reliable and detail oriented.
