Rotorua Lakes Council is looking for Hardworking Parking Adjudication officers to join the community safety team. Your role will be key in providing timely, effective, efficient and legally robust parking infringement administration and support through the provision of expert knowledge, technical advice and professional customer service. You will review infringement correspondence received, investigate and make sound decisions in line with current best industry practice, relevant guidelines, Policies, Bylaws and legislation. While resolving parking complaints within established timeframes and updating record/database, you will need to ensure files, records, and documentation are kept up to date, and filed within the council’s database and/or parking software as required.
To succeed in this role, you will need to have a tertiary qualification in relevant discipline e.g. Administration OR relevant on the job experience. A minimum 3 years’ experience in an operations environment preferable customer service or parking is ideal, along with Suitable knowledge of parking processes, network management, roading and transportation systems and standards including NZTA National guidance. Experience in supporting management in a corporate environment is desirable but not required.
