Gloucester, ENG

Adidas is hiring a part-time Sales Consultant to join the Gloucester Quays store on a temporary 12-hour schedule. The role is onsite in Gloucester, England, and is a solid fit for someone who loves sport and fashion and enjoys helping customers find the right gear. Adidas emphasizes people, optimism, and an active lifestyle, with stores acting as the heart of the brand and a space where you can grow with the company.

The company highlights a supportive environment and a path to opportunities across retail, office, and distribution center roles, backed by training on product, service, processes, and personal effectiveness. Diversity, equity, and inclusion are baked into the culture, and the team works with modern retail standards and technology to serve customers well.

This role suits someone with sports or fashion retail experience who wants to be part of a team that values learning, collaboration, and a positive, customer-focused approach. adidas appreciates a workforce that communicates well in English and brings resilience, curiosity, and a willingness to grow with the brand.

Brand ambassador on the shop floor

On a typical shift you’ll greet customers, ask questions to understand what they’re after, and steer them toward adidas products that match their needs and style. You’ll be the friendly face in the store, helping shoppers while reflecting adidas values and standards.

You’ll team up with colleagues to keep the floor well stocked and presentable, lend a hand with deliveries and replenishment, and push to hit store goals. You’ll also take ownership of your own learning by finishing all applicable training and putting what you learn into practice on the shop floor.

Communication in English will come into play as you contribute to a modern retail environment that relies on up-to-date tools and processes to serve customers effectively.

What adidas is looking for

Must-haves

  • Experience in a sports or fashion retail environment of at least one month.
  • Ability to read store KPIs and turn those insights into actions that drive sales.
  • Strong customer service and sales skills.
  • Team orientation with resilience, a desire to learn, and solid English communication.

Nice-to-haves

  • Familiarity with stock deliveries and replenishment tasks.
  • Comfort working in a modern store setting that uses current technologies.
  • A genuine interest in adidas products and sport.

What you’ll get and the practical details

The role offers competitive compensation and rewards, including bonuses and a referral program.

Free uniform sets are provided twice a year, and there is a discount on adidas products online and in all own stores.

The work is onsite in Gloucester, with part-time hours that fit around other commitments, and you’ll be part of a team that values inclusion and continuous training.

Tips that’ll help you stand out

Lead with your adidas-relevant experience. On your resume, place any sports or fashion retail roles up front, and call out any training you've completed in product knowledge, service, processes, or personal effectiveness.

Show concrete proof of the must-haves. When you describe your background, include a quick example of how you interpreted KPIs to lift sales, a time you delivered strong customer service, and a moment when you worked well in a team, all while communicating clearly in English.

Prepare for interviews by framing yourself as a brand ambassador. Be ready to discuss how you’d apply training on the floor and how you’d reflect adidas values in customer interactions and daily tasks like deliveries and replenishment.

Ask a smart question about growth paths. A good line is to inquire how adidas supports internal movement across retail, office, and distribution center roles, and what development opportunities look like for a part-time team member.
