Herc Rentals is seeking a Parts Coordinator in Phoenix, full-time on site, to manage inventory with accurate invoicing and costing, place and expedite orders, and provide professional customer service at the counter and on the phone. The ideal candidate has 3 to 5 years of construction parts or equipment experience, heavy equipment knowledge, and a valid Class 5 license. Key duties include maintaining an organized department, handling shipping and receiving, preparing shipping documents, assisting with returns of damaged or warrantable parts, and supporting the Parts Manager in finding the best buys. Job Purpose

Utilize purchase orders as a matter of company policy.  Responsible for meeting the needs and commitments to customers and Service Department - striving for the highest in customer relations

What you will do...

• Responsible for accurate inventory accounting.
• Responsible for maintaining a clean, well-organized department.
• Communicate with customers on the telephone and at the counter in a professional manner.
• Accurate invoicing and costing on all parts documents daily.
• Timely ordering, shipping, receiving, and expediting of special orders.
• Prepare shipping documents and packaging of whole goods requested by other departments.
• Set-up showroom displays for merchandising.
• Prepare documents for the return of damaged defective, cores, and warrantable parts in a timely manner.
• Timely ordering, shipping, receiving, and expediting of special orders.

• Place weekly/monthly stock orders
• Assist in addressing complaints and resolving problems relating to Parts Department.
• Assist Parts Manager in finding the best buys from outside suppliers.
• Related duties as necessary for the accomplishment of the position

Requirements

• Must have previous 3-5 years experience with construction parts/equipment
• Heavy equipment experience.
• Must have valid Class 5 license
