Payroll Officer, EMEA at Sotheby’s in London is a hands-on, high-volume role reporting to the Payroll Manager. You will own end-to-end UK payroll for 600+ employees, input changes via ADP Celergo and SEF forms, manage pensions, validate HR data, and consolidate overtime while handling payroll queries and liaising with ADP. You will also support Global Mobility with Shadow Payroll and manage benefits such as childcare vouchers and GDPR compliance. Ideal candidates have 4+ years in a fully managed payroll, solid UK legislation knowledge, and thrive under pressure in a matrix environment. THE ROLE
Reporting to the Payroll manager, the role encompasses payroll operations across the UK and other global markets. You will be a key contributor to high-volume payroll processes. Working as part of the Finance team and in close partnership with Human Resources, you will provide a responsive service that supports the business, meets statutory, legal and contractual requirements and be involved in various projects as required.
