SGS NZ is looking for a proactive HR People Systems Analyst to support our HR technology, reporting, and payroll systems.

In this role, you'll help maintain HR and payroll data, support reporting and analytics, assist with system administration, and contribute to process improvement initiatives. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their career in HR systems or people analytics.

What you'll be doing

  • Manage and maintain HR systems including Workday, DataPay and related platforms to ensure data integrity, security and compliance

  • Support HR reporting and dashboards using Power BI and Excel

  • Drive HR process automation and continuous improvement initiatives using tools such as Power BI, Power Query, Power Automate and AI solutions

  • Support HR data governance, audits, integrations and system enhancements across the employee lifecycle.

  • Provide support to employees and managers using HR systems

  • Administer remuneration and benefits processes, including salary and bonus reviews

  • Support system upgrades, testing, and process improvement initiatives

  • Contribute to HR projects, policy updates and continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Experience using HRIS platforms (Workday experience advantageous)

  • Exposure to Power BI

  • A curious mindset with a genuine interest in emerging technologies, AI, and automation, and how they can improve business processes and employee experiences

  • Strong organisational and communication skills

  • A genuine interest in HR technology, data, and continuous improvement
