The role includes operating plant automation, dispatching, loading and offloading rail cars and trucks, managing inventory, assisting with maintenance and production, milling and blending asphalt and emulsions, and forklift operation with a strong safety focus. Candidates should have a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and the ability to work outdoors at height and under pressure in small teams; experience with pumps, piping, heat tracing or hot oil heaters is a plus, as are solid communication and basic Word and Excel skills. The Facility Operator oversee the safe operation and maintenance of various equipment, tanks, controls, transfer systems, and other components within asphalt plant systems. Their responsibilities include moving rail cars, as well as loading and offloading trucks and rail cars. They play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of asphalt production processes while adhering to safety protocols and standards.
