Baylor College of Medicine invites applications for a Postdoctoral Associate to join Dean P. Edwards, Ph.D.’s lab in the Department of Molecular and Cellular Biology. The role centers on independent experiments to express, purify, and characterize recombinant proteins for downstream structural and proteomics work, including mass spectrometry proteomic cross-linking and CryoElectron Microscopy. Responsibilities include cloning, cell culture for protein expression, data analysis, careful record-keeping, and contributing to publications. Requirements: PhD or MD in a basic or health science field; no experience required. Preferred: demonstrated independence, collaboration, and strong communication. This is onsite in Houston and not visa eligible. Tips: emphasize independent project execution, publication contributions, and fit with Edwards lab in your CV and cover letter.
