About the Role

This role will use data, metrics and visualization tools to drive the Digital transformation program and demonstrate business value to stakeholders. You will enable high-quality performance reporting, shape the Digital performance narrative, and identify and implement improvements to support Digital's strategic and delivery goals.

This role requires strong judgement, the ability to operate in ambiguity, and confidence engaging with senior leaders to influence decisions through evidence-based insights.
You will play a key role in defining what success looks like for Digital – not just how it is reported.

Key accountabilities include:  
 

• Builds reports and visuals to provide rigorous and transparent, data backed insights on the progress of each Digital Domains, in support of the overall Digital strategy and value narrative. Defining progress towards aspirations, goals, and metrics, including shaping the performance framework and ensuring measures align to business outcomes.
• Leads Digital's performance reporting to the business and reporting routines with Digital teams, including creating and maintaining dashboards, analytical models, visualisations, and data platforms.
• Ensuring reporting facilitates key decisions,  and informs prioritisation and investment discussions.
• Translates complex delivery, financial and operational data into concise insights for senior stakeholders. Connecting Digital initiatives to value outcomes such as productivity uplift, cost efficiency, risk reduction or capability build.
• Identifies and co-creates performance improvement initiatives and supports the relevant teams to implement them. Using performance insights to challenge assumptions, identify gaps, and recommend corrective actions.
• Supports the Digital Officer and Digital Leadership Team with Digital-wide planning, prioritisation and executive-level performance materials.
• Establishes and embeds reporting standards, data definitions and performance routines in a newly formed and evolving Digital function.
• Builds confidence and trust with stakeholders through consistent, high-quality insights and a strong understanding of Digital strategy and delivery realities.

About You

You have: 

• A relevant bachelor's degree or equivalent in business, finance, analytics or related discipline.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to explain complex data and insights to non-technical audiences.
• Experience collaborating  with senior leaders to deliver performance, reporting or analytical outcomes.
• Experience with performance reporting, including the creation and maintenance of dashboards, reports, analytical models, visualisations and data platforms, preferably across large, complex data sets.
• Working knowledge of modern BI and visualisation tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau or equivalent) and an appreciation of data governance, quality and assurance concepts.
