Shaping Enterprise Architecture for SAP Rise in Auckland
As a Principal Enterprise Architect, you’ll craft an enterprise architecture model that aligns with a customer’s strategic goals and work closely with virtual account teams as a transformation partner. You’ll guide cloud adoption with a focus on adopt and derive, starting from enterprise archetypes and scaling digitally, while applying RISE with SAP methodology and Clean Core principles to ensure customers benefit from SAP’s cloud capabilities.
In this role you’ll act as the Transformation Partner for the CIO or other CxOs, steering architecture effectiveness and supporting adoption by identifying and mitigating technical risks. The Right Candidate For The Principal Enterprise Architect Role
Must-Have Requirements: 10+ years in customer experience roles (for example as a Program Manager or Architect), with experience delivering end-to-end architectural designs for hybrid solution landscapes. Deep knowledge of the SAP Enterprise Architecture Framework and toolset, plus hands-on experience with BTP components such as application development, automation, data and analytics, integration, and AI capabilities. Proficiency in SAP Integration and Extensibility Advisory Methodologies and in Clean Core principles. S/4HANA technical or SAP S/4HANA application/functional knowledge or experience. Excellent communication, influencing, and negotiation skills in English at senior management and C-levels, across IT and business functions. A mindset for strategic thinking, continuous learning, and solid business acumen.
Nice-to-Have Requirements: Knowledge of on-premise and corresponding SAP cloud solutions. Professional training and certification (e.g., SAP Enterprise Architecture Framework featured by LeanIX EAM, SAP Certified Professional-Enterprise Architect [P_SAPEA_2023], TOGAF) is a plus.
