Advice for applicants from a recruiter’s desk

Lead your resume with your PhD specialty in Organic or Medicinal Chemistry and highlight hands-on experience in synthesizing bioactive small molecules, plus any leadership of cross-disciplinary projects.

Demonstrate the must-have skills with concrete examples: show how you have steered multidisciplinary teams, met project milestones, and used molecular design and SAR analysis to drive optimization, including any use of digital or AI-enabled workflows.

Prepare for interviews by outlining how you approach designing and testing new crop protection compounds, how you communicate findings to both technical and non-technical audiences, and how you handle data-driven decisions in a collaborative setting.

Ask a thoughtful question about how the CPR Chemistry team currently integrates digital tools and AI into discovery workflows or how the regional science hub supports ongoing collaboration with other life-sciences researchers.
