WSP Australia is seeking a Principal Water Resources Engineer to lead large scale water management for mining clients across Australia. You will head multidisciplinary projects within the Mine Water group, mentor talent, strengthen client relationships, and provide strategic advice on flood risk, water balance and environmental water management across the full mine lifecycle. You should be a recognised water resources professional with Chartered status, a minimum of 10 years in a consultancy, and a proven track record of delivering outcomes that save time and cost. What you’ll do:
As a Principal Water Resources Engineer, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering strategic, large‑scale water management solutions for mining clients across Australia and internationally. You will lead multidisciplinary projects, guide and mentor emerging talent, and partner closely with clients to solve challenging water issues across the full mine lifecycle.
You will be part of WSP’s Mine Water group; a collaborative community of hydrologists, hydrogeologists, water engineers, geochemists, and environmental specialists - working on transformative and sustainability driven mining projects.
