Job Title: Procurement Professional - Sustainability

Salary: From £42,215 depending on experience

What you’ll be doing:

  • Supporting delivery of the Submarines Supply Chain Sustainability strategy and annual priorities
  • Coordinating Scope 3, environmental and social value initiatives across supply chain
  • Maintaining sustainability trackers, reporting packs and governance action logs
  • Preparing high quality materials for senior forums and stakeholder briefings
  • Supporting supplier engagement activity, communications and training coordination
  • Identifying risks, gaps and improvement opportunities and escalate appropriately

 

Your skills and experiences:

  • Experience in supply chain, sustainability or a related function
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Strong stakeholder management and coordination capability
  • Ability to translate strategic priorities into practical delivery actions
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a complex and regulated environment
  • Experience of decarbonising a supply chain / implementing social value within supply chain

The Submarines Supply Chain Sustainability Team:

You will join the Submarines Supply Chain Sustainability Team, working across major defence programmes to embed ESG within procurement and supplier processes. The team collaborates closely with wider business functions, Group and Sector sustainability teams, and Social Impact colleagues to align strategy, governance and delivery across the organisation. We offer relocation support packages across all Submarines roles, subject to meeting eligibility criteria.
