Produce Assistant Manager at New World Mosgiel is a full-time leadership role in the Produce department, supporting the Produce Manager and guiding the team to maintain quality fruit and vegetables. Hours of Work:

• Monday 7:30am – 5:00pm
• Tuesday 7:30am – 5:00pm
• Wednesday 7:30am – 5:00pm
• Thursday 5:00am – 9:00am
• Sunday 6:30am – 4:00pm

40 hours per week total

Role Responsibilities:

• Working with the Produce Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of the Produce department.
• Working with the Produce Manager Supervisor to lead the Produce team including providing feedback, coaching, and training.
• Ordering stock, loading promotions and setting up new products.
• Rostering.
• Stocking shelves with precision, including rotation of items.
• Maintaining a spotless and organised workspace, including the storeroom.
• Adhering to our food safety and workplace safety program.

Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but full training can be provided to the right person.
