Meta is looking for a Product Manager (Leadership) focused on Risk to join its onsite team in London, ENG. This fulltime role sits at the heart of Meta’s mission to empower people to build community and bring the world closer together, with a sharp eye on data trust and responsible practices. The product risk organization shapes how regulations will influence an entire industry for years to come, building the frameworks, tooling, and culture that guide every product decision.

The right candidate will operate where product strategy meets regulatory complexity and engineering at scale. You’ll tackle ambiguous, high-impact problems, guiding cross-functional partners and setting the standard for how Meta meets its obligations with increasing efficiency and craft. It’s a fit for someone who thrives in complexity, brings strong product judgement to evolving regulatory landscapes, and can translate external requirements into scalable product solutions.

If you enjoy turning unclear situations into clear roadmaps, influencing multiple teams to align around a shared vision, and coaching others as they grow into senior roles, this could be a great match. Meta values pragmatic, impact-driven leadership that keeps data practices responsible and user trust at the forefront.

Steering risk-focused products in a rule-rich world

In this role you will lead and drive a complex product area, deciding what success looks like and where to invest. You’ll prioritize opportunities, weighing when to start and when to stop, all while considering broader company context. You’ll work with a cross-functional team to shape a product vision, craft a roadmap, and push progress toward goals and milestones, keeping the team healthy and effective along the way.

You’ll look for dependencies across teams and craft shared strategies with adjacent product areas, ensuring alignment and reduced friction. Your work will be informed by user research and market analysis to guide the product in the right direction and influence the wider product organization. You’ll also influence strategy across partner functions to improve collaboration and reconcile divergent goals, and you’ll communicate progress clearly to stakeholders at all levels. Mentorship and coaching are part of the role, helping grow other PMs and cross-functional teammates.

What you’ll need to bring

Must-have qualifications

  • More than 12 years of experience in product management leading cross-disciplinary teams.
  • Over a decade of collaboration with engineering, design and user research colleagues.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional product teams across a full product line, from mission and strategy to requirements and coordinating resources from groups such as marketing or legal, driving key milestones.
  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent, with a STEM background preferred but not required.
  • At least five years of experience hiring, managing and developing both individual contributors and senior leaders to build a cross-functional team.
  • Strong communication that makes complex ideas easy to understand.
  • Solid experience analyzing large-scale, complex data sets to guide decisions.
  • Proven ability to present to senior executives and tailor messages for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Background in Risk, Trust, Compliance, or similar fields.

  • Experience integrating AI tools to optimize workflows and drive measurable impact, such as efficiency gains or quality improvements.
  • Experience applying responsible, ethical AI practices, including risk assessments, bias mitigation, and quality checks.
  • Nice-to-have: a STEM background is desirable but not essential.

Advice for applicants

Lead your resume with a clear picture of your leadership scope, especially how you’ve steered cross-functional product teams and collaborated with engineers, designers and researchers. Put the emphasis on the 12+ years of experience and on work that crossed risk, trust or compliance domains, plus any AI initiatives you’ve led or contributed to.

Show how you prove you have the must-have skills by sharing concrete examples. Highlight a time you defined a product mission, built a roadmap, coordinated resources from multiple groups, and delivered milestones while keeping the team healthy. Include specifics about how you gathered user research and market data to steer decisions and how you communicated progress to executives.

Be ready to discuss how you handle ambiguity and regulatory complexity, and provide a concrete story about translating external requirements into scalable product solutions. If you’ve led initiatives that required cross-functional alignment and managed dependencies across adjacent product areas, bring those experiences to life with numbers and outcomes.

When you get to the interview, have a thoughtful question ready about how the risk product org collaborates with partner functions and how success is measured across regulatory and operational objectives. A good line of inquiry is to ask how they balance regulatory obligations with delivering user-focused features and how they gauge impact across risk, trust and compliance goals.
