We are currently searching for our next Production Assistant!

You'll prepare, pack, weigh and assemble fresh products for sale. You'll handle the product with care, keep the pace up, and get orders out the door on time. No experience needed, we'll teach you everything. What you bring is reliability, attention to detail, and pride in doing the job right. It's honest work with good people.

Responsibilities

• Basic understanding of good manufacturing practices & food safety requirements
• Basic knife, hand or equivalent skills
• Weigh, pack, label and price product accurately to spec
• Pick stock to store allocation
• Keep the production line moving, steady pace, clean workstation, no bottlenecks
• Maintain cold chain, keep product at the right temperature every step of the way
• Manage raw material stock on hand effectively
• Spot and pull out anything that's not up to standard — better a reject than a complaint
• Follow and comply with all applicable health and safety procedures

About you

We are looking for someone who loves food. Additionally, we are looking for someone with:

• Good communication skills
• Organised - you can run multiple admin tasks in parallel without dropping any 
• Attention to detail, right weight, right label, right pack
• Food production, warehouse or retail experience is a bonus
