TE Connectivity is seeking a Production Machinist III for 1st shift in El Cajon, CA. The role plans production sequences, selects machines and materials, determines batch sizes and speeds, and sets up CNC tools while interpreting sequences, dimensions and tolerances. You will optimize feeds and speeds, verify parts with precision gauges, maintain machines, troubleshoot malfunctions, and perform deburring. Requirements include blueprints, G and M codes, tolerancing, and speeds and feeds; manual CMM experience is a plus. Typically 6+ years’ related work, ITAR eligibility, HS diploma with vocational training or AA preferred. Base salary $62,400-$66,560 plus incentives and benefits. • Optimize machine performance by making necessary adjustments to feeds and speeds.
• Ensure parts meet specifications by using precision measuring instruments and gauges to check work.
• Maintain optimal machine conditions by replenishing coolant, changing filters, and lubricating machinery.
• Troubleshoot machine malfunctions, taking corrective actions and providing detailed information for resolution.
• Maintain part integrity through deburring, edge breaking, and proper identification procedures.

COMPENSATION
• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $62,400 – $66,560 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
• Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
