As an Project Interior Designer/Architect at UNS, you will independently create and elaborate on interior designs. You will manage all aspects of interior projects, from concept creation to project delivery, ensuring high-quality results that meet client expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Independently develop, document and implement innovative interior designs/space planning for various projects.

  • Create design presentations, mood boards, and material boards defining the look and feel of design concepts, solutions to clients

  • Prepare design specifications and coordinate with project architects and project managers to ensure project completion in compliance with design intent.

  • Sketch preliminary designs and produce visualizations from 3D models that reflect the proposed interior design, and FF&E selection.

  • Advise on color schemes, materials, furniture, and decorations to ensure their vision is realized.

  • Engage with internal, external design team and potentially clients to discuss and define project requirements and specifications.

  • Perform supporting activities for other interior designers as needed.

  • Request prices and order necessary material samples to support design concepts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in interior design, architecture, or relevant field

  • 5-8 years’ work-experience as an Interior Designer.

  • Experience in hospitality, residential interior design or workspace design, space planning and fit out.

  • Experience in cultural, mixed-use projects, high-end retail is an advantage.

  • Experience in sourcing and specifying finishes and FF&E

  • Knowledgeable in materials, finishes, millwork design, FF&E, and OS&E

  • Expertise in Rhino, Adobe Creative Cloud and Revit; knowledge of Enscape and AutoCAD is preferred

  • 3d Modeling experience in Rhinoceros is required (will 3d visualization abilities favorable)

  • Experience with all project phases (Concept through Construction Administration), including built work is preferred

  • Experience in preparing quotations and contributing to acquiring new orders is an advantage.

  • Fluent English communication skills

  • Strong aesthetic sensibilities and design skills with the experience and ability to develop and implement a design concept from preliminary 3D studies through to construction documentation and detailing

  • Proactive and self-motivated, with an innate commitment to interior design

  • Good team player with the ability to organize both own work and others, clearly communicate with Project Leaders, and coach/motivate team members

Contract

  • Duration of the contract 1 year.

  • Preferred starting date: March 2026
