Project Manager
Wipro LimitedWipro Limited, a global technology services and consulting company, is hiring a Project Manager for an onsite role in Ajax, California. Wipro helps clients tackle digital transformation across consulting, design, engineering and operations, with more than 230,000 people and partners in 65 countries. The person in this role steers assigned projects from start to finish, ensuring they align with company strategy, stay within budget, meet quality standards, and follow project-management best practices. If you enjoy coordinating cross‑functional teams, keeping timelines on track, and communicating with stakeholders, this could be the right fit.
The company’s approach combines consulting, design, engineering, and operations to deliver ambitious results for clients. This role sits in a client-facing, delivery‑focused environment where careful planning and disciplined execution matter. It’s well suited to someone who thrives when there are multiple moving parts and a need to coordinate across different teams and stakeholders.
Keeping projects on track from kickoff to delivery
In this position you’ll guide projects through their entire lifecycle, from the initial direction to completion, ensuring alignment with the broader goals and quality expectations. You will be the internal single point of contact for client initiatives, shape and maintain the project plan, and oversee resources and the budget. Early identification of issues and risks is important to protect both the client and the project, and you’ll work to keep schedules aligned between Wipro and the client. Collaboration with the HCM PMO team will be part of your routine to set up project tools, staff the project with consultants (including Rizing), and prepare everyone for kickoff. Throughout delivery you’ll track progress against scope, budget, and timelines, escalate concerns to PMO or executive leadership when needed, and maintain a logs of risks, actions, issues, and decisions while forecasting hours for the project’s duration.
What you’ll bring to the project room
To be considered, you should bring a baseline of two or more years in project coordination, PMO support, professional services operations, implementation services, or a closely related field. You’ll need strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects, stakeholders, priorities, and deadlines at once, plus experience keeping schedules, action-item trackers, documentation, and status reports up to date. Clear written and verbal communication is essential, along with a sharp eye for detail and strong follow-through. The role also calls for the ability to spot potential issues early and escalate them instead of waiting for direction. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and other common collaboration or project-management tools is important, and you’ll be comfortable working in a distributed, client-facing consulting environment.

Tips to stand out in this PM role
Restructure your resume to front-load your project coordination and PMO experience, and include concrete examples where you managed schedules, budgets, and risks for multiple projects at once.
Demonstrate your toolset with real results: show how you used Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and other project-management tools to keep plans updated, dashboards current, and forecast hours accurate.
Prepare to discuss collaboration in a distributed, client-facing setting, including how you’ve worked with PMOs and external consultants to set up project tools and prep for kickoff.
Ask a targeted question in interviews about how this role interacts with the HCM PMO and external consultants during kickoff and delivery, and how success is measured for ongoing projects. For example: what are the top metrics used to gauge progress and risk in the first 90 days, and what does a successful collaboration look like with the HCM PMO and Rizing teams?
