You’ll be invited to consider how power distribution supports cloud services and emerging technologies, and how to translate client ambitions into real project outcomes while delivering with ownership and entrepreneurial spirit.

Powering data centers across Europe

You’ll take full responsibility for the project scope, budget and schedule, plus risk management and customer satisfaction, coordinating multidisciplinary international teams, suppliers and subcontractors to ensure the work proceeds smoothly. The role centers on end-to-end Low and Medium Voltage power distribution, with a strong emphasis on practical execution and collaboration across Europe. You’ll also act as the main point of contact for customers throughout the lifecycle, ensuring the delivery of advanced electrical infrastructure in mission-critical environments, and driving milestones such as Factory Acceptance Tests and Site Acceptance Tests while maintaining a robust safety culture on site.

What you’ll need to succeed

  • At least five years of project management experience in electrical or power distribution projects, or similar on-site technical endeavors
  • A bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, Industrial Engineering, Technical Business Administration, or a closely related field
  • Strong customer-facing skills and hands-on stakeholder management on site
  • A track record of delivering complex, multi-disciplinary projects
  • Solid knowledge of safety standards and HSE regulations
  • Fluent English; Dutch language skills are a plus
  • Willingness to travel internationally, about once per month

Nice-to-haves

  • Solid understanding of LV/MV power distribution systems
  • PMP or IPMA certification
  • VCA VOL or an equivalent safety certification for international power distribution projects
  • Ability to travel and work across European countries without needing additional visas or permits

Pay, benefits and practical details

The role offers a gross monthly salary between €6.000 and €8.000 plus a Benefits Budget, which together translate to a yearly salary range of €90.000 to €120.000. The position supports flexible working hours and a hybrid working arrangement, with full-time employment and the possibility of a part-time arrangement in discussion. You’ll have the chance to contribute to multi-million-euro international projects and access Siemens’ Lifelong Learning programs. The team environment is diverse and inclusive, spanning more than 55 nationalities, with a strong emphasis on ownership and entrepreneurial freedom. You’ll regularly travel to keep projects connected with on-site realities across Europe.

Siemens highlights that data centers are foundational to digitalization, and this role offers a direct line to shaping resilient and sustainable facilities. The posting also notes that the company supports ongoing development and a high level of ownership in project outcomes, within a global and dynamic setting.

Tips to stand out in this role

Lead with a resume highlight that puts a real project in the spotlight, one where you owned scope, budget, schedule, risk management and customer satisfaction from start to finish.

Prepare to talk through a concrete on-site stakeholder scenario: who you coordinated with, how you kept safety front and center, and how you maintained HSE compliance during critical site activities.

Have a FAT/SAT milestone example ready and explain how you ensured successful testing and sign-off, including how you navigated cross-border coordination and complex technical interfaces.

Ask about cross-border travel expectations and visa requirements, and show you can operate across European countries without additional visas or permits where possible.
