Your Role:

The Facilities Technical Operations Project Manager is responsible for leading all Facilities Management (FM) project activities, including strategic planning and end-to-end project tracking across the full project lifecycle—planning, programming, budgeting, scheduling, design, construction, and closeout. The role ensures project deliverables are completed on time, within budget, and in full compliance with applicable codes and regulatory requirements. The Project Manager also oversees and tracks Facilities CAPEX investments for all EMD Serono sites, manages technology and infrastructure programs and systems supporting facilities functions, and provides overall coordination for all FM projects.

  • Projects range widely from lab and office renovations, core MEP/FP infrastructure, ground up construction, space planning, technology upgrades, leasehold improvements, security enhancements, sustainability programs, and safety initiatives.
  • Drive project results, adopting a flexible approach to problem-solving and adapting to shifting schedules/end user requirements, with a passion for addressing challenges, thriving in a fast-paced environment.
  • Foster a safety culture by collaborating with EHS, implementing Prevention through Design, and promoting BeSafe programs.
  • Act as Owner, actively identify, mitigate, and manage all project risk factors.
  • Develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, business partners and direct reports.
  • Facilitate all internal communication activities, site logistics planning, schedule coordination, routine reporting to key stakeholders.
  • Manage and enhance current FM based technologies and leverage program functionality to drive efficiencies and automation.

 

Who You Are

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Facilities Management, Construction Management, Engineering or related field
  • 8+ years demonstrated Facilities project management experience

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • PMP/IPMA certification
  • Facilities and construction project management experience
  • Exceptional and demonstrated leadership
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Products, AutoCAD, and Project Management Tools
  • Cross functional project leader with ability to manage multiple projects effectively and interface at all levels of the company
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

US Pay Range for this position: $126,100 - $189,200

The offer range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base pay compensation for this position. The actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level of experience, education, skills, and other job-related factors.
