The Project Manager III leads major strategic initiatives and builds a continuous improvement culture that supports efficient and effective execution of projects while ensuing they align with LRS' strategic goals. This role will oversee enterprise-wide and cross-functional projects as well as mentor project managers.

 

Reports To:

Director Project Management

 
  • Lead and manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to Project Managers and Project Coordinators.
  • Develop and implement project management methodologies and best practices.
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of project management tools and templates.
  • Manage project budgets and resources across multiple projects.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks and issues at a strategic level.
  • Communicate effectively with senior management and stakeholders.
  • Ensure project alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Drive continuous improvement in project delivery and outcomes.
  • Lead project retrospectives and identify opportunities for organizational learning.
  • Performs other duties as required or assigned.

 

Scope of Responsibility

 

The Project Manager III is an individual contributor that possesses strong knowledge of technology. This role leads and manages more complex projects with multiple stakeholders and cross-functional team of internal and external participants. Works closely leadership to set organizational standards and frameworks for project delivery.

 

Qualifications

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

  • Strong leadership, team management, coaching, and mentoring skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of project management methodologies and project lifecycle experience.
  • Must have a continuous improvement mindset with strong change management skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget.

 

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and a minimum of 7 years in a project management role, with at least 3 years in a senior role. Demonstrated experience managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified ScrumMaster (CCSM) or other relevant certifications preferred.

 

Physical Demands & Work Environment:

 

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Frequent use of hands and fingers to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls.
  • Regularly required to talk and hear, both in person and by phone or web meetings.
  • Occasionally required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms.
  • Ability to read and interpret data on a computer screen or printed documents.
  • Work is performed in a typical office environment with moderate noise levels, in a climate-controlled environment with heating and air conditioning.
  • Potential for remote work or hybrid work arrangement.
  • May be required to lift up to 20 pounds.

 

Travel Required:

  • Some travel may be required, approximately 5% of the time for meetings at LRS sites, networking events, project meetings, etc.
