Lion is hiring a Project & Systems Improvement Engineer for our Pride Brewery in Auckland on a permanent full‑time, onsite basis. The role blends two halves: 50% Project Engineer delivering capital projects from feasibility through commissioning, and 50% Systems & Continuous Improvement maintaining Lion's capital project management systems (CapexInsights and SAP), governance, and reporting while supporting project teams with best practice. You will partner with engineering, operations and finance to manage full lifecycle, forecast and report capital spend, champion PM best practice, train stakeholders and look for ways to simplify and standardise. Ideal candidates have experience managing engineering or capital projects, strong PM and organisational skills, ability to handle multiple priorities, and comfort working with Finance and site teams; SAP or similar PM systems experience is advantageous; an Engineering degree is desirable, but a relevant trade qualification with project experience is highly regarded. Why Lion? Meaningful projects, collaborative culture, and clear opportunities to influence how we work and grow your career. To apply, tailor your resume to highlight PM and CI impact with quantified results, demonstrate cross‑functional collaboration and on‑site readiness, mention your experience with CapexInsights or SAP, and include a concise cover note addressing how you would deliver both roles.
At Lion, we're not just about brewing great beer – we're about creating unforgettable experiences. We believe in the power of our products to bring communities together, spark conversations, and create lasting memories.
