Te Tūranga – About the role   
We’re looking for an organised, proactive, and detail‑driven Promotions Analyst to join our Merchandise Team and help deliver high‑impact promotional programmes across our retail banners.

·       Deliver weekly promotional planning, execution, and reporting while managing multiple fast‑paced promotional workstreams.
·       Ensure accurate, timely, and relevant promotional information is communicated across stores, Category teams, and Marketing.
·       Coordinate promotional display programmes for PAK’nSAVE and Four Square, ensuring seamless execution and alignment with all stakeholders.
·       Run weekly competitor price checks and produce post‑promotion performance reporting across PAK’nSAVE and Four Square (Fresh & Dry).
·       Manage Four Square online specials proofing, ensuring all promotional data is reviewed, validated, and processed on time.
·       Support continuity across the Promotions team, providing cover during leave and contributing to ad‑hoc analysis, reporting, and project work.

You’re adaptable, comfortable juggling competing priorities, and able to shift gears quickly when plans change. You don’t just identify problems — you’re a solution‑finder who uses logic, curiosity, and strong operational understanding to keep things on track.
You’re confident working with systems and data, and ideally bring experience with SAP, Power BI and Excel, using them daily to support decisions, accuracy and visibility. You can communicate clearly, whether presenting information verbally or through well‑structured visual summaries.
Experience in Retail, FMCG or Supermarkets is a huge advantage — and if you’ve worked in store or with Foodstuffs members, even better. You understand how promotions land in the real world and what it takes to make them successful.You may be early in your career, but you’re hungry to learn, eager to take ownership, and motivated by the challenge of a role that’s highly operational and business‑critical. You bring energy, resilience, and a can‑do attitude to every task.
