You will empower kindergarten educators to strengthen school readiness in 3- and 4-year-old programs through coaching, modelling, group training and outreach visits, with a focus on wellbeing, emotional regulation and social development. Requirements include a degree in Psychology and current unrestricted AHPRA registration; an Educational and Developmental Psychology endorsement is highly regarded, along with experience with vulnerable and diverse communities. What you’ll be doing
You will primarily support kindergarten educators within centres to strengthen their ability to assist children in 3- and 4-year-old kindergarten programs. Your work will focus on building educator capacity in the area of Wellbeing (Social, Emotional and Executive Function), and working alongside other disciplines who will focus on Communication (Language, Literacy and Numeracy) and Access, Inclusion and Participation. By using evidence‑based approaches, your work will have a positive impact on the educators who are supporting the school readiness skills of their kindergarten cohorts.
