Job Description

As the Purchasing Executive, you will be responsible for assisting with the ongoing provisioning of the vessels, warehouse stock and general office ordering.  

As the Purchasing Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting with the ongoing provisioning of the vessels, warehouse stock and general office ordering.  This position is Cairns Queensland based.

Responsibilities 

• Raise Purchase Orders from requisitions covering all aspects of marine provisioning such as hotel, deck and engineering supplies.
• Maintain crew uniform stocks- purchase and receipt of new stocks, issuance to crew, arranging. drycleaning of returned uniforms and entering data to record stock movement.
• Monitor and maintain office supplies, including stationery and amenities.
• General Stores duties – receiving, despatch and ensuring a clean warehouse environment. Job will also involve driving a manual ute, a Manual Drivers Licence is essential.
• Carry out additional duties as directed by management.
