We’re looking for Summer Interns who will start with us in November 2026 and Graduates who will start with us in February 2027

If you're looking for experience in mergers, acquisitions and valuations, our market-leading Corporate Finance team is the ideal environment to learn.

Our Corporate Finance team is the highest performing of its kind in New Zealand. In fact, we have been the top-ranked company by volume of transactions since 2005 (Thompson Reuters).

We help shareholders and executives find value by providing mergers and acquisitions advice, financial-focused strategic advice, modelling services, business and intangible asset valuations and general corporate finance advice. Our work includes identifying targets for acquisition, raising business capital, valuing companies or intangible assets, assisting with executive incentive plans, assisting in deals, negotiating strategies, providing advice on dividend policy or capital structure and much more.

We aim to continue taking the top spot for a long time yet, though we can only do that by working as a solid unit. As a part of the Corporate Finance team, you’ll have the support, advice and structure you need to start your post-university career in the best way possible.

If you're looking for a summer internship or graduate role, this is what you're likely to have studied:

  • Bachelor degree with Finance, Economics or Accounting majors

  • Bachelor of Laws conjoint

  • Bachelor of Engineering

  • Bachelor of Science (with majors in mathematics or statistics) conjoint with finance or accounting

To hit the ground running, you will ideally have done some papers in accounting, as the ability to analyse financial statements is a core skill.

Before you apply, please ensure you have your latest CV and academic transcript ready. You can only apply for one job. In the application form, let us know if you'd be open to other roles, and we'll handle the rest - no need to apply multiple times.

Eligibility: Applications are open to New Zealand or Australian citizens and permanent residents. Candidates on student or work visas may only apply for roles in our Audit, Centre of Innovation and Technology (CIT), and Internal Audit & GRC teams, provided they meet specific eligibility criteria.
