Mercedes AMG HPP in Brixworth offers a full‑time Quality Apprentice as an Electro Mechanical Inspector, a three‑year program blending hands on metrology, electrical testing and non destructive techniques with mentoring to deliver an IMECHE accredited Advanced Apprenticeship. You’ll develop CNC measurement strategies, GD&T ISO knowledge, IPC 610/620 PCB qualification, and radiography for sealed components while driving continuous improvement in a fast paced F1 setting. To apply effectively, tailor your CV to show practical engineering experience and any project work, highlight metrology or machining exposure, cross‑functional collaboration, and a track record of initiative and quality. Requirements include Level 3 Foundation Engineering by September, GCSEs in maths and English, readiness for a Feb–Mar 2026 Assessment Centre; starting salary about £21k, 36 days leave, private healthcare and travel bursary.
As an Apprentice Electro Mechanical Inspector you will learn to use the latest cutting edge Metrology, Electrical & non-destructive test process to confirm low-volume, bespoke, precision components within a fast-paced environment whilst maintaining extremely high quality standards, ensuring we are in the best possible position to continue winning F1 World Championships.
As a team we pride ourselves on sharing knowledge and will support you with a tailored 3 year development plan, designed to provide exposure to the breadth of engineering within our F1 program all whilst being supported by our mentoring program. We are also pleased to have been awarded the 2017 Advanced Apprenticeship Provider by the Institute of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE).
