About the Opportunity
We're looking for a Quality Systems Engineering Manager to lead and develop our Quality Systems Engineering team. In this role, you will plan, drive, and manage quality engineering initiatives that directly improve product and process reliability—while ensuring full compliance with our Quality Management System (QMS) and regulatory requirements.
You’ll be responsible for shaping quality strategies, aligning them with business needs, and leading a highperforming team that champions quality across the product or functional group.
What You’ll Be Doing
Drawing on your expertise, you will:
Lead, manage, and develop a team of Quality System Engineers to ensure a highperforming and motivated group.
Contribute to Fisher & Paykel Healthcare’s quality objectives and ensure integration with wider business plans.
Define, prioritise, and allocate quality needs and resources to meet business objectives.
Initiate, design, and oversee improvement projects related to product and process quality and reliability.
Elevate systemic issues and drive continuous improvement across the Quality Management System.
Monitor external regulatory and industry trends and manage changes impacting the QMS.
Investigate and report performance against quality targets, deploying improvement strategies where needed.
About You
You will bring strong technical and leadership capability, including:
Proven experience with Quality Management Systems.
Demonstrated peoplemanagement and teamleadership skills.
Strategic planning and deployment capability, with understanding of financial and business impact of quality decisions.
Ability to influence, coach, and develop others.
Strong conflictresolution and problemsolving skills.
