    We are looking for a Receptionist/Dental Assistant to join our team Monday through Friday

    We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Receptionist/Dental Assistant to join our dental practice in Lincoln, New Zealand. As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a vital role in creating a warm and professional atmosphere.

    • Greet and assist patients in a friendly and courteous manner, both in person and over the phone
    • Schedule and confirm appointments for our dentists, as well as manage patient recalls
    • Perform administrative tasks such as completing payment processing, rescheduling and banking
    • Assist with sterilisation and provide support to the dental team as needed
    • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality
    • Contribute to a collaborative and efficient work environment

    This is a fast-paced role where no two days are the same. You will be someone who enjoys working closely within a team and providing upstanding customer care. 

    The Hours for the role are:

    • Monday to Thurs, 0800 to 1700 with 30 breaks
    • Friday 0800 to 1630 with 30 minutes.

    Qualifications

    • Previous experience as a Receptionist or Dental Assistant is preferred but not essential
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Proficient in computer applications with strong attention to detail
    • Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively
    • Strong problem-solving skills
    • Warm and positive attitude with a team-oriented approach
    • Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures is beneficial
    • Flexible and organised with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
