Purpose of the role
The Recruiting & HR Business Partner plays a key role in building a high-performing, well-supported organisation by delivering strong day-to-day execution. The role exists to ensure that managers and employees experience HR as professional, consistent and value-adding — from hiring the right people, to managing performance and development, to addressing employee questions and issues early and constructively.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition
- Lead end-to-end recruitment for all roles, including assessments, interviews and offer management.
- Design, develop, and continuously improve recruitment processes and ways of working.
- Conduct targeted LinkedIn sourcing, talent mapping and proactive outreach.
- Partner with leaders to define job descriptions, selection criteria and competency requirements.
- Strengthen employer branding through targeted messaging, hiring manager coaching and market presence.
Employee relations & HR processes
- Act as first point of contact for employee relations questions and coordinated individual cases, providing advice and guidance on people matters to employees and managers.
- Coordinate HR-related operational activities such as onboarding set-ups, training registrations, certification tracking and internal communications around joiners.
- Support continuous improvement and optimisation of HR systems and workflows, in close collaboration with COFRA Services and internal stakeholders.
- Ensure HR systems are used correctly and consistently across the organisation.
- Perform regular data checks and support HR reporting and dashboards.
Performance & Development
- Manage the annual performance management cycle, including planning, communication and training for managers and employees.
- Coach leaders on effective performance management, feedback, and high-quality goal setting.
- Support and facilitate the creation of development plans and performance improvement plans.
- Monitor and track mandatory education and certification requirements.
Experience and skills
- At least a Bachelor’s degree in HR, Psychology, Business or a related field, or similar level obtained by experience.
- Strong background in direct sourcing, ideally within financial services or other specialist domains.
- In-house / corporate recruiting expertise, including experience with recruitment process improvement.
- Broad HR generalist capability across performance, talent, learning and employee relations.
- Experience building or improving HR processes, frameworks and documentation from scratch.
- Confident and resilient personality, able to challenge and advise senior leaders.
- High degree of ownership, comfortable driving initiatives independently while staying close to execution.
