Juniper Aged Care in Kununurra is seeking a permanent full time Registered Nurse to join Juniper Gerdewoonem, a 35 bed home delivering person centered care. You will assess residents with the broader team, plan and evaluate care plans, mentor care staff, and support AN ACC assessments while coordinating with other health professionals. The ideal candidate has AHPRA registration, a minimum of two years’ aged care RN experience, strong planning and coordination skills, the ability to guide wound and diabetes care and manage medication systems, plus excellent communication and teamwork. We offer hourly base rates from $46.48, 75 hours per fortnight on a rotating roster, subsidised accommodation and relocation, salary packaging up to $18,550 tax free, 17.5% leave loading, Juniperks and allowances. As a Registered Nurse with Juniper, you will be responsible for assessing residents' needs, in conjunction with other healthcare professionals, and for the planning, implementation and evaluation of residents' care plans. Demonstrated experience in the mentoring and supervision of care staff and the awareness of AN-ACC required assessments is needed. We are currently seeking an enthusiastic individual passionate about this vocation to join the team. The ideal candidate should be available to work unplanned leave.
This is a permanent Full-time contract working 75 hours a fortnight on a rotating roster.
